hmm.. It's www.raiderrobotix.org . The whole server is down. If I get any information of when everything will be up and running I will let you guys know about it. As for now I can only apologize for the inconvenience.

Yeah, I have the address right in my bookmarks. What's different about it is it's acting more like the domain name isn't even registered. Whatever, doesn't matter.

Re: [FVG]: NEW FORUM!!!!!

OK, I am working on restoring it, although I don't how much I can. The main hard disk on the server crashed, and they don't think its recoverable. Because I was extremely busy in the past few weeks, I don't know if I did any recent backups. (Their backups got destroyed too). I'll see where I can get with this thing

probably. unfortunately, the best working backup we currently have found is for before the forums were even set up. we are hoping that we can find a more recent backup copy somewhere, but nothign is certain right now. if we need to start from scratch i'll work really hard and get everything set up the way we had it as quickly as possible. of course, all the posts will be gone and everybody will have to re-register.

when we get this workign again we are going to establish a much safer backup system so this can never happen again.

Re: [FVG]: NEW FORUM!!!!!

I don't see too much hope in getting any backups. Instead I am going to do either of the two
1) Setup a extremely careful fool proof backup system(unlike the last one which failed).
2) Get onto another host which provides better service.

Meanwhile I have put up a blank forum on the same address. All this has deeply upset me because its not only you guy's forum which has gone, theres a lot of my personal(team stuff, and other members works too) work on there which is gone forever(probably 50 hours of work, or more). I have to wait and see. Meanwhile I'd suggest using CD, but we should be on another forum soon(this time fail proof).

OK I need some info. from you guys:

1) Number of people involved in this project
2) Male:Female ratio
3) On a percentage scale, how far have we gone with this project
4) On a percentage scale, how far do we go every week
5) A well-written description of this whole thing
6) All useful links
8) Names of all the leaders and what they lead.
7) Any other vital information about this thing.

Yes, I am up to something different, so please provide me with the information.

1 and 8 can be found on the wiki. anybody whom you do not know the gender of you can PM and ask.

as far as percentage, i would say we are about 20-30% done it took a ton of planning to get where we are, but it really all depends on how much work the programming turns out to be. i know it will be a lot, but not how much.

for weekly progress, i'd say somewhere around 3-5% on average, though things have slowed down recently to about 1-2%. it does seem to be picking up again, but i would say 3% would be the best answer considering the slow-down and that school starts soon.

all the useful links ar in my signature

stress the fact that this will be free and downloadable

i will get to work on a description
