two WEEKS? Child's Play! Try Two MONTHS!

Edit: You might be a FIRSTer if 80% of your day consists of thinking of Robots, 10% of it thinking about girls, 5% of it doing real work, and another 5% trying to think of how much of your day revolves around Robots.

if you visit a college, just to ride a segway*

*I actually did this. For WPI's "Just for Juniors" day they brought out the segways and let people ride them. Despite the fact that I had already been to the campus plenty of times I took the hour ride, just to ride one.

.. when building a catapult for physics and you only have two weeks to do it .. you leave it most of it to the last weekend and because your group is all in your robotics you talk about how it is exactly like the last couple days in build season

What about 1000 or 2000?

My turn.

You know you're addicted to FIRST when you get excited finding FIRST stuff on ebay. (Unless it's your limited edition team pin - )

You know you're addicted to FIRST when you wear WD-40 as aftershave.
(Those 3" trial size cans are great. )

.... you have so many FIRST t-shirts that when you tried to squeeze in the latest one and hang it in the closet, the closet rod actually broke and spilled them all on the floor.

Re: You might be a FIRSTER if...

- you beat David Kelly at the Highway FIRST Game (pick out road signs, billboards, and license plates with FIRST numbers... and I kicked his butt).
- you go on what's supposed to be a relaxing roadtrip, and instead end up filing robot parts.
- you have random robot parts, shifters, and allen wrenches lying around your living quarters, even if you rarely help build the actual robot.
- you have no time to sleep, you consider yourself wayyyyy past the burnt out stage, you struggle through everything, you barely make time for 'real life' and do your grocery shopping at 3-4 am, and yet you still come back to CD and FIRST everytime.

Who needs a closet? Wear them all at the same time!

... you might be a FIRSTer if,

You wear 17 different FIRST shirts, while m/c'ing at a FIRST competition.

Sounds like someone needs to salvage a chin up bar from the game this year and mount it in their closet for a stronger bar.

(Monster House - FIRST style)

You know you're addicted to FIRST when you want a FIRST themed Monster House.

Wow! Someone hit the nail right on the head. (Supermarkets are not busy that time of night though, so it's cool - No waiting in lines at the checkouts.)
