 But should we "discriminate" based on how long your team has been around? If you think about it, FIRST's goal is to inspire students, right?
...But students on rookie and second-year teams, if anything, are in greater need of being inspired.

Fall SD FIRST meeting
Team 1163 is interested in either hosting or getting involved in a ND/SD FIRST meeting to discuss and plan for the 05 season. Anyone from ND or SD interested please reply and we'll get the ball rolling.

Looking at the NEMO website I came across this list that was used in a southern state. Teams came for sessions and they were devoted to the following topics:
The list of topics included: 1. Intro to FIRST 2. Design methodologies 3. Basic Physics 4. Mechanical design 5. Manipulators/Pneumatics 6. Controls/Programming 7. Electronics 8. Team building 9. Machine shop training/safety 10. Final project/competition If we could generate presenters on these topics (either classroom teachers or engineers from SDSU) it might be helpful.
