Those aren't all democrats protesting, most of them are just Bush haters. It's great that we allow the freedom of speach in the USA but many of these people are getting out of hand. The security forces being used to keep idiots from starting fires and disrupting the city could be better used to protect other areas and citizens from possible terrorist attacks. It shows Bush's true (dis)approval rating . I guess NYC was a bad choice for the Republican National Convention. They should have chosen a more conservative city, such as Atlanta or Dallas or Houston. Or, for that matter, Indianapolis. Or is "conservative city" just an oxymoron?

Ummm.... Most of those people are not from the city and are mainly fringe groups. You could have held the RNC in the middle of nowhere and you whould have had the same amount of people. I find it redicuolous what some of those people are doing. Im going to get naked in front of all these people just to prove a point. People rolling around in money dressed as pigs. People laying down in the middle of the street. Then you have the anarchists who aren't even protesting against Bush. They are are protesting against the whole entire government.

Well, I'm not an FBI official nor in the CIA or NSA, but I think they are most worried about a terrorist attack disguised as a protest. Also, the chances of a terrorist attack, even now, are low.

No matter which way I cut it the amount of protestors only amount at most 12% of all the Democrats in the city. That's not really a large showing. I really don't care what they do. They could go running naked across the street and I wouldn't mind. Oooo wait they all ready did.
