Well...this is what FIRST wants to compare the competition to. Remember the kick-off this year. That was one of the big messages, to make the FIRST experience and competition take on the excitement and flavor of a superbowl football game.
It is no wonder the reporters draw these parallels after being "told" this by FIRST itself.
I don't mind it at all myself....
