Go to Post I jumped up and yelled when I saw both my teams in the same division. Less running for me in the pits. Thank you, Great Homie in the Sky! - Barry Bonzack [more]

Re: UFH: Nate Smith

I just wanted to thank everyone for all the comments they've made, as well as dez250 for the initial nomination. I knew a while back that I had been nominated, and had just sent in the questionaire and then forgotten about it until I signed into the web site today. I recognize a lot of the names posted here as people that I've worked alongside of for a large part of my FIRST career, and I'm sure that I've seen the rest of you at some point or another...my job at these events keeps me from getting to say hi to that many people. Needless to say, if you want to say hi to me at an event, you'll have to track me down...

Re: UFH: Nate Smith

Well since every one else already said the "C" word, I'm going to say something else ...

It is really inspiring to me to see people who dedicate their time and energy into something that they believe in and love to do - especially inspiring when it comes to FIRST. It also sets a great example to me (personally) to know that college students and adults with other responsibilities dedicate their time to teams and to the further development of FIRST. So THANK YOU; thank you for showing me once again that FIRST is so incredibly great that people like you and other UFH (and those that are not UFH - like mentors) are willing and do dedicate so much of themselves to it - (regardless of what other responsibilities they have).

And err.. OK FINE ... I'll say it:

CONGRATULATIONS!!!

I have to agree ... Dorienne Plait and I are quite a DUO in CD!!!
