Re: Pets in college

At USC, it's a 20-gallon fish tank. That's it. (My batting average with them stinks, so I remain fishless.)

But the principal here in Preston (think faculty who has a whole house in a chunk of the building) has a dog. But I guess he paid the cost to be the boss. And the dog's cool.

<tangent>Since one of the requirements to live here is that you have to attend dinners 2/3 of the time Monday through Thursday, I got curious one day and asked him why the dog never attended dinners--after all, the dog does live in Preston. He responded that it eats at Preston twice a day every day.</tangent>
