Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
I will be one in 2 more months. My book knowledge is probably a little more current then Rich, but I'd go to him first.

Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
All,
Judging by the time of year, and the fact that I've already gotten a "MechE Request"... I'm pretty sure he's looking to interview you for his Project Lead the Way - "Principles of Engineering" course. As part of this course, you need to do a quick research report on a type of engineering, and interview a practicing engineer from this field. I remember doing this project way back in the Fall of 1999 (Before I was involved in FIRST). It's really cool that PLTW students who use Chief Delphi or participate in FIRST have access to a large number of Engineers from various fields. Another example of PLTW + FIRST = Awesome! I think it's cool that I've gone from interviewer to interviewee. (Even though I'm not a practicing MechE, and sent the person who asked me off to talk to some old fogey from Delphi who has been working as a MechE already.) I urge ANY engineer who is asked, to participate! This is a great way to directly show some kids more about what you do. John |

Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
Yup, It's for principles of engineering. As soon as the I saw that you had to interview an engineer, I turned to Tom (ToMMaNb182) and said "Andy Baker!, time to go to chief delphi!"

Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
Hello, if anyone is interested, i need to interview a mechanical engineer for my POE class as well. The interview would not take much time out of your day, so hopefully you could fit me in. You can PM me or just post on the forum. Thank you for your time and please get back to me as soon as your schedule allows it. The project is due the 29th so hopefully you can contact me sometime this week.

Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
I am in the P.O.E. class here in hammond. Our class started this project well over a week ago, and I to turned to chief. I know have two interviews completed and turned in. Also with the points boast of these interviews i was able to jump to #1 in that class...if i can keep it up is another question!

Re: Who is an Electrical Engineer?
I will be next year, probably at Purdue. I am trying to decide between EE, Optical Engineering, Biomed, or Aerospace Engineering. But since I enjoy burning low power resistors, count me in as a future EE.
