2003 Controller on the 2004 Field?
Would the old 2003 RC and OI work with the 2004 field? We're hoping to field two robots during the CAL games (if allowed), if you were wondering.

Well, I know they wouldn't fly for the official season, but I can't think of an issue. The competition port pinouts are the same for both flavors of the OI...although it's entirely possible the arena controllers changed between 2003 and 2004. I'd try contacting IFI to make sure.

It will work. We ran 2 robots at Mayhem because they had a no-show team. One of them ran an old controller.
