Go to Post (The wheels) need to be green anodized, and then assembled with yellow anodized spinners. ... and then, on the spinners, you can etch "JVN is a dweeb". That would be cool. - Andy Baker [more]

Re: Copying a CD

Be careful guys. I understand the original intention of this thread, but please watch what you say because as in the forum rules, and for legal and ethical standards, copying a CD is illegal if used not used for the 'backup copy' reason.

This is not a threat, just a warning.

Re: Copying a CD

roxio dosnet always do a good job. due to the fact that it dosent have changeable options for the type of cd. that program just thinks of all the cds are the same

Alchol 120% is a much better program. if you can find out which copy protection the cd has you can use that program to make an image so it will bypass the copy protection. you can just use teh 21 day trial

AS Kelly said, there are rules regarding conversations involving illegal acts. Please read and follow our simple rules listed on Chief Delphi forums.

Copying software most of the time is illegal. The only real exception is if you have a licence for making copies (many teachers buy programs that are site licensed and are granted permission to make a set amount of copies or install on a set number of computers).

There is a old practice that was suggested many years ago that if you purchased a software program you can make a copy for your archives. This old practice was in the old days when all media was 5.25 and 3.5 floppy format that could get damaged very easy. Today with CD and DVD technology being very stable, the archive practice is illegal. Read the licence that came with your software.

We are requesting that conversations regarding methods of making cd,s be for your personal data or programs that you personally have created.

Let's keep it legal guys.
