I do remember watching both of those. The one with the showroom was a joke, I just can't remember what episode it was.

Re: The Story of Monster Garage

I've been thinking about this and I believe they won't sell the vehicles. The suv modified for the wheelchair is one thing, but most of the vehicles have been modified to the point where they're no longer safe and/or legal for street use. Just think of the liability the PT Cruiser with the woodchipper in the back could be! If they run out of space storing all these vehicles or decide some aren't worth keeping anymore they might destroy them as well.

But I wouldn't feel as bad watching a 68 Mustang get destroyed as I would a 68 Shelby!! I just hope the producers don't read this, I wouldn't want to give them ideas!
Personally I laughed at the guy who flipped out at Jesse when he discovered what happened to the car he sold. It just seems so absurd to overeact about a piece of metal. The only way to make a car yours is to rebuild it from the ground up.

Does anyone know if they auction off these cars for charities? My guess without looking into is that they just keep them in a garage or "hall of fame" somewhere.
Actually the racecar was auctioned off for charity. I believe it went to Richard Petty's charity or whoever's racecar that was.

Actually, I doubt that would happen. It appears to be that Jesse actually maintains all of the vehicles. The Ranchero figure eight rancer was repared after the crash and eventually caused a crash of an other monster vehicle. Also some of the vehicles are probably street legal.(wedding chapel, tailgater,)

Re: The Story of Monster Garage

most of the old vehicles are kept onsite at the monster garage.

there is a seperate room (the one that "commercial" was in) where they have a bunch of the old cars...i know i saw the mini snowmobile, grim ripper2, the limo firetruck, champ car line painter, bronco 4 wheeler, wedding chapel, santa float, the tree shaker, ummm, the civic that the high school kids did...i can't think of what else...i counted and there was 14 or 15 monsters there. and then one of the rock em sock em scions was outside, the magnum train car and the gorilla mobile were waiting for their challenges...
jesse kept the wheelie ambulance for himself. the figure 8 racer he destroyed racing, but he built another figure 8 racer and he races every weekend at irwindale (cept now cuz he busted his ankle up so bad)
the hood from the rx7 sandrail was also there, complete w/a million bullet holes in it.

i have no idea what's happening to the monster i built, altho i'd love to see it compete at other hillclimbs...it was built well enough to withstand it.

alot of them go on tours, like the mustang lawnmower and the tailgate/party truck i know tour the country. and that's about all the info i've got.

[quote=sanddrag]They keep them all in a garage and parkign lot behind Jesse's shop except for the ones they destroyed.[quote]

The welding shop that donates all our welding supplies each build period is Jesse's shop. We were going to try to contact him to ask if he'd get involved with FIRST, but never got around to it.
