Hehe. We only have the bottom of our frame done. All we have to do is mount the control box, drill motors, our WMD (weapon of mass delocation ), test it, fix the inevitable failure of our drivetrain, and get everything to work. [SARCASM] Not much to do. [/SARCASM]

Re: [OCCRA]: Robot

... Define done. LOL

We have our chassis frame done, and our drive train minus the sprockets may be done tomorrow. We have the appendage frame 1/2 complete.

Re: [OCCRA]: Robot

Well, because of trouble putting a team together (because we didn't have our prevous membership strategies), we only have the basic (and I mean BASIC as in aluminum parts) frame of our robot done, and we do have the control box up and running (like we should've had at the workshop about two weeks ago)...

To put it in lamens terms, we are behind schedule

Re: [OCCRA]: Robot

we're at about the same point as everyone else it seems.

has anyone finished designing their robot? i mean, don't to the nitty gritty specific measurements and angles and colors?

David

well if you call finish designing sumthing like...
so IF this will work, and this doesnt fail on us, and this piece stays on, these parts dont bend, this cylider is strong enuf, and all assuming these pieces dont extend out of the box, yeah our design is done

Re: [OCCRA]: Robot

We have the "nitty gritty" of the chassis and the frame holding up the arm; as for the actual appendage itself.. We have desired angles and lengths, just no.. uhh.. idea as to how we're going attach motors and pneumatics and such..
