motors would normally be controlled to speed controllers aka victors.

well, our robot arm had all its weight on a 1" aluminium bar, so if the bar would break, the arm would come completly off. That was our first time in robotics compitition, so we didnt exactly plan everything out that well..so i thought we could get some ideas of what a better version of an arm would look like..
