Those linear actuators have a stroke of about 7 inches, 500 lbs of push force, run at 28V, consume about 8 amps each (which don't vary on load at all), and cost about $300 a piece. Interesting to note, the linear pots that sit on top of the actuators cost more money than the actuators did.
