We designed a prototype drive with 6 motors, because we figured it was much easier to "remove" motors from a design than design in more motors. This gave us a nice base design to build off of during the 6 weeks. Our actual competition robot used only 1 Chiaphua per side. It was originally designed for 1 Chip and 1 FP, but after testing it was decided the FP motors weren't worth it. 2 chips, 3 competitions, no problems. John |
