[OCCRA]: one ways
are we allowed to have more than one pneumatic one way (check) valve in our pneumatic circuit? i know we need one right after our compressor, but we would like to use another one after the tank and ysplitter, and before a solenoid. the reason we would like to do this is, (for example: not exactly as this but same principle) when we have a spring retract cylinder extended, there is 60psi pushing out the rod.. when we use another cylinder which uses air split with a y, the air(pressure) slightly drops from the spring retract cylinder..and we'd like to keep the pressure in that cylinder constant. of course eventually the compressor will build up pressure in both cyliders eventually, but we dont even want a slight change until we activate the solenoid...
so basically what i want to do is compressor .....| one way valve(check valve) .....| 60psi regulator .....| tanks .....| y-splitter(fitting) .....|...............\ .....|................\ .....|.................\ .....|...................\ check valve.........solenoid .....|...........................\\ solenoid....................cylinder .....|............................... spring retract cylinder |
