[ECDU]: Start this baby up again

Well, we have taken a while off, and now that offseasons are winding down, and talk of regionals and build and kickoff are starting, lets see what we can do to make this thing work. For now we have kept it simple, just an alliance among friends to not harm each other, and keep things on the field fun and exciting for all.

So far, of the 2 events ive been to, DotD and BE, drivers from the ECDU have competed fairly and pushed each other to win. At duel, Henry choose myself to be his alliance partner, we ended up going up against Mike in the Finals. Mikes team ended up breaking down due to my defense in the finals, he knew it was part of the game, and now there is no hard feelings among us.

At BE, Mike and I were in an alliance against Henry in the finals. I tipped Henrys bot over twice, and he knew not to worry, its just how the game is played, and no hard feelings are there(especially since he ended up winning). And it helped that we knew each other and that its always nice to help a friend out.

I've only been to one offseason event (Bash) since ECDU started up and sad to say I have not met any other members in person. Perhaps we should have AIM chats once a week or something to get some business items done (there had been talk about getting a sponsor or two and perhaps a scholarship for us) and re-introduce ECDU to those who were not on CD over the summer and get plenty of members for the upcoming season.

Ya-we are gonna start with threads some more, but first we are trying to solve some smaller things and get this thing organized better, so far its making alot of sense and it will be alot funner for all once we are done renovating.

corey we have start the forum with the what goes on in your head. now lets see if we can get some chats on aim going. so one day lets talk about a date so that everyone can talk and so everyone know what is going on.

We really need to get this thing rolling again. I know it is currently the most hectic time in the season but we need to start preping for comps. We gotta get the word out on this thing.

Ya, we had a chat tonite, didnt last that long however. The lag in the chat rooms as of late have been really really bad and we could not get any good conversations going.

We had a whole workshop on it and scouting at NJIT, that went over pretty well. We were only able to gain a few more members though, because we drew mostly scouts.

good point i think wee need a website so that we can get going. i believe it is easy to go to a website ranther than going to chief delphi and looking us up. so see what is going on with Brat and the website.

Guys on my team are upto it. We should have one in two weeks if they work swiftly enough. Exams this week so no work will be done.
