I don't actually watch many scary movies, so I can't really contribute. But along with what greencactus3 said, watching scary movies at home with friends is hilarious, cause so many horrible plot points and stupid mistakes are pointed out. Also, try watching any scary movie in Spanish or another language that you have no idea what anything they are saying means. I saw part of the Ring like this on HBO Spanish, couldn't stop laughing.
