I'm from walled lake northern and for anyone that was at Lamphere last nite, i was our driver and in our 4th match, we were being block from our ramp by a team on the other alliance and they werent on our ramp... is this legal?


btw: we got them back by getting in their way from stealing our tubbies

It is legal provided that they aren't blocking the scoring holes on your ramp and that they do not stay in contact with your robot for more that five seconds at a time. The placebo had one occasion where we were getting shoved around by Brother Rice-573, because of their plow design. It's legal and expected. It only becomes illegal if it lasts for more than 5 seconds (pinning) or if its solely for the destruction of your robot. All of this is written out in rules G15 and G16.

Most questions for what is allowed and not allowed are answered within the rules, and I highly recommend that anyone who is on the field (drivers, HP, coach) has the rules memorized- so they know what they can and can't do on the field. That's one of our requirements for anyone who wants to drive the placebo, and it's been working well.
