Re: n00b queston

I assume this is a question about OCCRA? You should post in the OCCRA forum.

He may be talking about the IFI controller. To change channels on that you need to look at the Competition Port Pin-Out Guide

http://innovationfirst.com/FIRSTRobo...nout_Guide.PDF

And then once you have made the switch/closed the pins for 'practice'' mode you can play with the channel dipswitches to find the channel you want.

Re: n00b queston

Check here:

2004 Operator Interface Guide: Page 16, section 14

Section 14 covers all the channel-changing stuff ... any other Operator Interface questions can be answered there, too.

Hope this helps!

Re: n00b queston

Do this. Get a thin paper clip, or preferably a thin solid wire - do not use stranded wire. Look at the face of the 15 pin competition port on the operator interface so that you can see all the little holes. Bend the paper clip or wire such that you can insert both ends into holes. Insert one end into the top left hole of the connector. Insert the other end into the bottom row, 4th hole from the left. There should be 3 empty holes on left of the bottom row, and then your paper clip/wire inserted in the next one.

See attached pic and use red marked holes. Be very careful to not insert anything in the wrong holes. Also, do not use anything that is too big for the holes, it should go in easy.
