Greetings Teams:

FamilyFun Magazine has announced the launch of FamilyFun Volunteers, a
program designed to encourage families to
volunteer together.

In partnership with DisneyHand, ABC Family, and the Points of Light
Foundation ( http://pointsoflight.org/ ), the magazine is offering cash
grants totaling $50,000 that winning families can donate to the
charities
of their choice.

The Points of Light Foundation, a nonprofit organization dedicated to
promoting volunteerism, will assist FamilyFun's editors in judging the
entries. Submissions will be evaluated on the basis of creativity,
impact
on the community, and effect on the family.

In order to enter, a family must have at least two members volunteering
together: one at least 18 years old and one younger than 18.

The Deadline Date: January 3, 2005

DisneyHand will donate $5,000 to the charity choices of five families
and
$1,000 to the charity choices of 25 families, for a total of $50,000.
Designated charities must be either a 501(c)(3) or a public school.

Visit the FamilyFun Web site for complete program information
