[OCCRA]: Top Ranking Teams Picking Alliances

For Championships, I know that you stated that at the end of qualifying rounds, whoever was in the top 6 could not pick anyone else from the top 6. But does this mean that 6 teams will be picking alliances, or 8 as it has usually been?

(Sorry if I missed the answer to my question in the rule books. I could not remember what the answer was, so I skimmed through and could not find anything.)

All teams are in the Tournament. It is only the top 6 that are restricted from picking each other. The picking continues until all teams are picked. That means that there will be 11 teams of two.

If you partner breaks, oh well you are on your own as there is no placebo in the championship tournament.
