I am fairly sure that this policy is already in effect at most sporting events.

The thing is, there's probably 20 or 30 places a person can get beer at any given NBA game, and I'm sure no matter how drunk someone is they'd manage to find one stand that would serve them.

Beer sales make vendors WAY too much money to stop doing it on account of something like this.
