So, what are you thankful for?

We already know Brandon's answer (motivation), but let's just hear what the crowd here is thankful for.

(I'll reply back in a few.)

Re: So, what are you thankful for?

Well besides FIRST obviously and being an American citizen. I am thankful for the blessings of the Lord, my wife, my job. I am thankful that I had just completed my 14 year journey towards a Bachelors degree last week and I am thankful for my health and happiness.

I'm just thankful for my life. Thankful that I was given the privilege to live on this earth (thanks to my parents xD), and also to just know who I know. Besides my friends and family, I'm thankful for finding this wonderful program and the top notch community within it. I couldn't ask for any more than what I have and know right now.

Re: So, what are you thankful for?

Hoo boy, I've got the list for 'ya. Let's see, making Billfred's 2004 Thankful List:

  • My mom and dad, for obvious reasons. (Having children really is hereditary. If my folks didn't, I probably wouldn't, either!)
  • My brother, as having someone else to blame things on makes a world of difference. (Did I say that out loud?)
  • All of the resident nuts here at CD
  • All of the resident geniuses here at CD (although that may be repeating myself )
  • The folks I've met thus far at USC (namely those at Preston and WUSC)
  • Being in this country (no matter what I think of it)
  • The Firebirds. I sincerely believe that that group of gals made it clear to a group of rookies that FIRST is more than the competition.
  • Answering that flyer about a year ago about some district robotics team.
I think that's the list--I may add to it if I remember more.

Well, the usual (Family, friends, food - comon who doesn't post that?)

But the most thing that I am most thankful for is a secon chance at life and creating something that I love after giving up something that I really loved also.

Confused? Good. You should be.

Happy Turkey Day too all out there on ChiefDelphi and out on the Internet!! WWWWEEEEE

Re: So, what are you thankful for?

Wow, big smiley 0_o...

Anyways, I am thankful for those people who realized that I have potential, and wanted me to express it in the form of robotics! If it weren't for a few teachers and workers of my school, I wouldn't be proud of my position of being a student in a suffering community.

I am also thankful that there are people out there who get to experience a full-rounded thanksgiving, and I am very thankful that there are the unfortunate who, thanks to caring citizens, get to have a hearty turkey dinner.

I am, just like everyone else on this message board, is very thankful for FIRST.
