Buzz is also in www.firstrobotics.net site and they can be seen in the UTC stream.

There bot is more or less like theres 2 years ago. But instead of dumping 2 balls at a time, they raise their box and dump a lot out at once.

We were at both JnJ and UTC regionals with them, i believe their basket can hold 31 balls, they use the same basic drive system as last year, they can grab one goal and move with it. Hope that helps

BUZZ

BUZZ is alot like 95, they pick up balls through the bottom of their basket, and raise them up to dump them, except they don't do it as fast and have 2 gears, high for speed - low for torque.

We picked them as partners at UTC and I have to say they are very decent ball getters, the only better being 95 (Grasshoppers) in my opinion, but they have a lot more power then 95. You can see them in Quarterfinal 4 match 2, and SemiFinal2 match 1,2 and 3 from the videos at soap108.com
They were great partners, and we actually have a sticker of theirs on our Kart from LAST YEAR, and we were very proud to be with them.

(716 was awesome as well, lots and lots of unpredicted power!)

Buzz

Hi
If you want some picture of our robot check out www.buzzrobotics.org. Click on pictures (left side) and then go to Buzz 7. On a good day we can get 30+ balls it really depends on who we are playing against but we can defintly hold 20+. We're 6 wheel drive, we made our wheels and we have 2 Chips. powering us, we can grab 1 goal and dump balls at the same time, we like what we have and we make the best alliance with a goal grabber robot. Thanks, good luck to all.

Buzz is great!

We share the same basic concept, using rollers to move the balls up into a hopper and then latch a goal and dump.

Where the the 'bots differ is that they can handle a goal _much_ better then 95 can. 175 leans more on the power side and 95 on speed. This changed our strategys quite a bit. Theirs was to grab a goal of thier own and control it, running around picking up balls dumping them as needed. I only saw a few matchs they played in, but I think they won all of them.

We only played against 175 once, at UTC. In the end we won, but I think that was because thier partner had broken down and even then it was close (4 or 5 balls). In anycase, I think 175 and 95 are about equal ball handlers. What ever one lacks it makes up for in some other way.
