Special thanks to Michael Robbins and Lynn Casey at FIRST. This document exists because the Senior Mentor program exists. Thanks also to the project participants for graciously sharing their stories. Dave Lavery, Steve Chism, Andy Baker, Natalie Diascro, JVN, DJ Fluck, Pat Bogard, and Allison Guerin. Some of the names you know and some you don't, but they all have once again given of themselves for the benefit of others.

The .zip folder contains two pdf files -
1. the collection of stories and
2. the disclaimer

I'd like to thank Rich for letting me be a part of this project and putting this together. It was a real honor to participate.

I want to thank every single participent in that project. Dave's comment was just amazing (i read that over and over a few times), Andy baker, JVN, DJ, and Rich's comments made me think how FIRST is changing other's lives. That testimonials has been put together very nicely and great comments form mentors in FIRST. A rookie who read this will be inspired right away. Thanks for taking your valuable time out of your schedule and put this together...

I haven't posted on CD for a long time, but I just wanted to second DJ's sentiments and thank Kres for putting in the time to create this project and for giving me the honor of writing for it.

I hope everyone takes a look at this and uses it, its a great piece of work, and I was amazed by everyone elses stories.

FYI everyone.

As many have requested, the testimonials have been updated (thanks for uploading, Brandon) with the new FIRST Logo and a few other updates/corrections were necessary as well. Enjoy and PLEASE continue to distribute this package and compile "local" packages for your region. All feedback that I have received tells me this does make a difference. I'm currently working on more local versions for our two PA Regional areas.

(Note: I left the old logo on Steve Chism's letter because that was the letterhead he used at the time of submitting. This is not a mistake )
