Purchasing a New Instrument
I've been looking at getting a new guitar type instrument, and will be recieving one this holiday season. I just need some help with this choice. I am looking for something unique. I really like mandolins, but I also like acoustics. I prefer instrumental music to singing, so it'd be nice to have an acoustic mandolin around. However, they dont' always adapt themselves easily to everything. Any suggestions, seasoned guitarists?
Mandolin Too many awesome sites out there for a regular acoustic. |

Re: Purchasing a New Instrument
Check out Carbon Leaf. Carbon Leaf. Most of their songs have a mandolin in them, when he isn't playing some other stringed instrument. You can find their songs online at various places, and they have the first five tracks from their newest cd on their website to stream. Everything else you are free to download from anywhere.
Just an example of of awsome the mandolin is. ![]() Wetzel Last edited by Wetzel : 04-12-2004 at 23:02. |
