It happened to our team for the Lonestar Regional, but FIRST took care of it and fixed things. Sorry about what happened to you guys... did you pay your deposit? That is what happened to us, they told us we could wait for the check from our sponsor, and then someone else put us on the wait list without looking at the notes on our account.
And then, at the end of the match, the drive teams who are being lifted all say at once (in a GOVERNATOR voice)- "GET TO ZE CHOPPER!!!" - Graham Donaldson [more]
