hmmm... difference between flirting and being friendly, the touching thing is usually a good indicator, but not always... look at her eyes, you can usually tell alot by the way a girl looks at you...

Actually, there is a BIG difference. It's the guy who can be stupid and read things the wrong way, but the girl can be a little bit TOO friendly.

It's all about body language. It's all about how one carries themselves. I will explain more if need be....

Girls also can flirt without realizing they are flirting, I promise you that.

Uh...i think i'll stick with the touching definition. As for eyes, i don't *think* i look any different towards guys i like. Just cause i like to make eye contact and smile alot, i do that towards everyone. Flirting is not something i practice on a regular basis, so if by chance u see me acting awkward and shy, chances are it's my failed attempt at being cute.

I know what some of you guys mean about not knowing if a chick is flirting or being nice. The touching thing is a good indicator. Also, if a chick is trying to stand near you often, good indicator. If a chic stops by your pits often looking for you... you guessed it. If you find yourself wondering then don't try to figure it out. Some chics out there are teases, and I don't think that's a good thing. Chicks who are taken should respect their boyfriends and not flirt. Ok, that almost turned into a rant...

The Door thing...

Some doctrine crap that some feminist group that cited a bunch of things guys do that women should be offended by had Holding Doors Open listed.

Their reason? It is a 'subliminial sign from the male that the female is weaker than he.'

I think this is completely stupid. I hold a door open if I can whether or not I know the person and regardless of sex. I don't think they are a weaker person because i'm such a big, strong, door holding hate monger. #%#%#%#% I hate feminists.

On the subject of pickup lines.. I have no clue, I havn't used any nor had any used upon me. I won't get into why I havn't used any, would be a long story.

It was very interesting. It was at Nationals, and I was going back to my motel room to get something, and a guy from another team stopped me and asked me where I was from, and stuff like that. Then all of a sudden he asked me if I would go to Prom with him. I just chuckled a little, and I was like........hmmmmm that is a little far for me to travel, he was from California or something, and I am from Wisconsin. So then he was like oh. So I just said.....well maybe I will see you around, and then I continued on my way. What I should have said was, if you pay for my plane ticket I will be there in a heart beat. LOL.

Hey the whole your bot it hot thing, came from LIZ from my team. She was trying to think of something to say to this guy that she thought was really hot, so one of our engineers told her to go up to him and say, Your bot is hot. She never did that, but our enginner went up to him, and got his e-mail address for her. She was so embarrassed.

What a coincidence. That was actually one of the top freshman pickup lines in my high school last year believe it or not. I know, that is sick. I have no idea why someone would say such a thing like that.
