They are the same player insider, just the box and manual differ. So to answer your question, yes, they both act as an external HD, and they also both hook up to the Belkin Media Reader to store photos, and record sound using the iTrip.
If you are a PC user, get the HP, it has better support and offerings. If you want the Apple only branding and/or have a Mac, you should get the one direct from Apple. HP dose not support Mac formatted Apple + HP iPod. |
