Sort member list by last post date

I'm wondering how hard it would be to do something like sorting the member list by the last post date. There are probably more inactive (haven't logged in or posted in a long time) members than active members, and I think it would be nice to have some way to group all the active ones out from the inactive ones, rather than individually searching for someone's last post to make the determination. Is this possible?

If you are just trying to figure out if someone is still around, the last activity date in the profile is much better then their last post (and easier to get to).

I forgot about that last activity date in the forum system. But I'm not looking for just one person, I was wondering if there could be a list of all the people who are currently active.
