Ok, I'll be the one to stand up and take the punishment. I like it. I think the old one looked like a first draft of something made from Microsoft Paint. Basically an undeveloped idea.
The new one seems like they modernized it. The next logical progression. It's got a clean look to it. I didn't like the line art, it drew your eye to the lines, and then your thinking of the 3 shapes. As opposed to the Image that's presented now in it's entirety. Simply being a catchy image. Probably not a good explanation, but that's how my brain sees it.
