Team Name- Raider Robotix - Bristol Myers Squibb and North Brunnswick Twp HS, NJ Robot Name- The Silver Scorpion Speed- 6-8 ft/sec # goals grabbed- 2, on the fly- reliably, can grab and detach at will- can also grab a robot at will (but we are nice guys) Balls- we don't do that- your job!! Tether- 30 ft +- can go zone to zone, 360 degree rotation- so so Drive Train- 6 wheel drive- Chiaphua power!!!, WIDE knobby tires-high traction, maneuverable, powerful, brake mechanism, experienced drive crew- no mechanical breakdowns at all -ever-(knock on wood). 2001 Regional results- #4 seed in NJ, Regional FINALIST, Engineering inspiration Award- highest seeding round 135-three rounds over 100 pts- qp ave -78 (not bad for no balls!!!!) We are an odd team who made it to Florida via the waiting list- hey somebody wants us to be there!! ![]() |
