team 663 t-shirt design

i am designing team 663's t-shirt this year, and I have it down to two final designs, i was just wondering what you thought of them, and which one is better than the other. Either would be placed in the front of the shirt, going all the way across.

2, though might I suggest trying the same kind of outline on 1. with the shape of 2? It might work...

I'm not sure if its possible, or if you've already eliminated the idea, but I think I'd like if you could combine the two. I really like in the first one, how the "strands" are distinct. I also like the curved transition between the "strands" and your team number. If it did come down between the two, I like #1 better. Just my $0.02.

I think I like the first one better except for that straight edge where the strands come together at the team number. The curved line at the team number on the second design is nice.

heh go figure, thanks for all the input so far. I am kinda leaning toward the second as well. I tired to do some outlining like the first one has, but the lines are a little too close together so it didn't look right. I'm still working on it though!

I tired cleaning it up a bit by removing one arm, tell me what you think
