Re: Xmas Presents

One thing I had been waiting for for a while that I finally got is a 25' long printer cable. So now I'm trying out my old giant QMS Magicolor 2 color laser printer my brother gave me a while back that has just been sitting here. It has some streaks and splotches but for a free color laser printer, I think it will be alright. Now I can print fundraising materials for my team This thing really is a giant though, the lights in my room dim every time it prints.

Re: Xmas Presents

Wow, it's 1 a.m. and I finally got home... it's been a long day... I got:

Sims2
Killer Bunnies (with two of the additional expansion packs)
Chez Goth
4 very nice necklaces (one comes with matching earrings and bracelet)
The Terminal DVD
3 greatest hits CDs: Cheap Trick, Supertramp and Pearl Jam
$100 gift card to Kohls
A donation made in my name of a therapeutic horseback ride to a handicapped child. (the idea of this one confused me because I go horseback riding sometimes and ouch, I've never found it therapeutic...)
Lots of soaps and bath gels and lotions from Bath and Body Works and the Body Shop.
Books:
Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life by Anne Lamott
The Amateur Marriage by Anne Tyler
Weird U.S. by Mark Sceurman and Mark Moran
the first three Lemony Snicket books

And some odds and ends things like socks, gloves, candy, a rolling pin, etc.

And my favorite gift was an unplanned one and an odd sounding one. It was a bag of cat food. I convinced my mother to give me a bag her cat's food to feed to a bunch of feral kitties in her neighborhood. Here's a picture of one of the poor kitties

Heidi

Probably the most I've gotten in years:

- DDR Extreme (PS2)
- DDR DancePad
- DVD Player (pretty nice one at that)
- A new T.V. (also pretty nice)
- Cologne
- Some candy
- Clothes
- Eye Toy (pretty fun to use, especially w/ DDR )
- Jewel cases
- A *VERY* short converstation w/ my girlfriend

- And my little present to myself, about 5 gig's worth of Japanese music (XJapan, Dir En Grey, etc...) [although this is a belated present...oh well]

The best Christmas gift I received -

A DVD version of Clint Eastwood in "Dirty Harry" - my family knows me so well! (I've watched it four times already! "You've got to ask yourself one question: 'Do I feel lucky?' Well, do ya punk?" - one of the best movie lines EVER!!!)
