I saw something very different yesterday as I was messing around on the web. One team had two chips on one side and two drills on the other. I kinda liked it. I would love to hear some feedback from 61 or any other team that has done that. Andy B. what's your two cents on this if u please when you get a chance and any other input on this from others is appreciated .
THANKS!!! |

Re: Chip/Drill Gearbox
I would not recommend that. It would be very uneven; one side would either go faster or push harder or both.

With a good CIM/Drill combo gearbox, you can drive your robot fairly fast with the power available. Many robots have used this setup and gone 11-13 feet/sec with ease. Andy B. |
