they are trying to play with our minds now to get us ready for build season... it does seem to work... I better all the people that designed and knwo what the game is, is feeding off people like Jeremy (and myself) :0P (No offense Jeremy)... Good God only a few more days... I can't wait!

One thing we have to realize about Dave: he is one of the best and worst sources of information. He's the best because he helped design the game, he certainly knows what the game is. He's the worst because it is a personal hobby of his to give out warped clues to cause us all even more confusion

Haha, can you blame him though? I have to be honest, if I was Dave, I would be as cryptic and misleading as possible, just because it would be so extremely fun. Especially after doing the game Animation each year, I'd love to relax by poking people's brains with red hearrings on this board.

As in...the secretive eye on the back of the dollar bill. As in the Illuminati. As in the all seeing eye on...the pyramid.

Golden paint=pyramids.

All of the "threes" relate to pyramids.

Pyramidal Rock and Roll hall of fame.

Assorted other "threes".

And...I finally found a connection to Dave Laverey's hint about being reminded of this year's game at the VCU science center.

I think it's safe to say that we're going to see pyramids in this year's game.

you probably shouldn't, this has been attempted before in this thread, and it is not allowed by first to change their logo

Is anyone really excited about saturday as well? Man im so excited I could ride a horse with really long pants on. I don't think anyone on my team even knows that the game is going to be revealed this saturday so I have no one to get excited with.

On page 7 of Section 7 of the 2005 manual, there is:

Scouting: Teams often use the list for scouting other teams and their strategies. This is especially helpful when choosing alliances for the final rounds.

Doesn't sound like they are doing away with alliances.

I don't know about Amethyst colored glasses, but the logo does look pretty wild through some 3D glasses..

Maybe it does have someting to do with 3D. I mean who didn't play with those red glasses when they were a kid and see the picture pop off the page. Maybe there are pyramids that you can only see with 3d glasses that you move your robot around... (jk on that second part) Just a thought.
