I use Dr. DiVX... it works, more one touch instead of the horrendous multi-step-each-one-needs-you-to-be-there-and-takes-hours that GK is...
As for out of sync-ness... no clue.... I have a TV-Wonder card. So getting source files to transcode would not be a problem at all... especially since I have dish network.
