Go to Post we would all build robots to play "rock-paper-scissors" if FIRST told us to, cause it is just so freakin' much fun to build a robot until 2:30am every night for six weeks! - dlavery [more]

Re: Who's missing parts?

Out to teams...

Greetings Teams:

Some immediate clarification on four very important issues:

LED Light Clusters
They were not supposed to be in the kit. They will be handed out at the regional events before your robot is inspected.

We apologize for the confusion in labeling this item as "Event Pick-up Item 6" on the Kit of Parts checklist.

Taigene Sliding Door Motor
The "Gray Container Item 5 Loose" should have contained 1 motor, not 2. The Kit of Parts list incorrectly specified a quantity of 2.

Globe Motor
The "Gray Container Item 5 Loose" should have contained 1 motor, not 2. The Kit of Parts list incorrectly specified a quantity of 2.

Purchasing Additional Parts
Please Do Not call MMH for additional parts. For 2005, Innovation First will be handling the sale of additional parts to teams.

Out to teams...

Greetings Teams:

The 2 Hall-Effect Gear Tooth sensors ARE in the Sensor Envelope. They are "stuck" to the sides of the Texas Instrument's Accelerometer magnet.

Please look very closely. They are not very big... ~ 5/16" diameter x 1/4" tall with 4 silver-colored leads protruding from them.

Thank you.
