Re: 2005 Game Simulator / Scoring Program in Flash

nice job, sort of rivals and beats my strategy system, here. I think we need to kind of combine our ideas to create a better one. http://www.chiefdelphi.com/forums/sh...7&page=1&pp=15
I have an intresting idea i'm not sure how feasible it is yet, but add a pen function do draw on the field. Its a little easier than dragging the robots everywhere.

Oh wow! That's a really nice program. I wonder if it would be possible to get something like this for my Palm Pilot.

This is pretty extensive, I'm impressed at your work Suneet. Good Job, for you have made a tool that many teams will be using. (Ours included)

Re: 2005 Game Simulator / Scoring Program in Flash

We have a very low-tech version of a game simulator - a Triple Play board game. Not as sexy as Suneet's work (and thanks!) but doesn't need a computer to play it. We're using it to learn game strategies during build-team breaks. It's a reasonable but not perfect simulation.

Rules and a ppt or jpg version of the game board are here:
http://crush1011.org/TriplePlayBoardGame

It makes a fun board game, even for people who have nothing to do with FIRST. It also quickly got me thinking differently about how to play the game. Good training for coaches.

Bill

Re: 2005 Game Simulator / Scoring Program in Flash

i still have to admit, your program is quite a bit nicer than mine. I like a couple of features that you added into it like the way you pick and choose if the tetra goes on top or bottom.
