Re: Master Code?

Hi,

I lifted this from the IFI Robotics website at http://www.ifirobotics.com/forum/

What is the 2005 RC Master Code?
There are 2 micro-processors in the RC unit, Master and User. The Default Code(your code) is stored in the User processor. The Master processor controls all overhead controls such as radio communication. Downloading Master Code erases User Code, thus User Code will always have to be re-loaded after Master Code is downloaded to the RC unit.

Good luck,
Chuck

Re: Master Code?

By the way,

if you were at the nationals last year, the IFI guys gave a tutorial on how to edit the master code to do fun stuff like service interrupts in the background, so that you could literally set up "dual processing" on the IFI controller.

Re: Master Code?

Would you please share how one can edit the master code to do "dual processing"? I would absolutely love to use that kind of feature, both in FIRST and non-FIRST related tasks.

And btw, will this new "Master Code" work on the EDU-RC?

Thanks,
