Re: Dual monitor Display setup....

There is a Autodesk training session tomorrow at 5 PM PST. I'd suggest e-mailing this question to Kelly.stanphill@autodesk.com and they will answer it then.

Re: Dual monitor Display setup....

i think what others were saying, when they referenced using two monitors and it being helpful, was that it can be useful to operate say your 2d cad alongside your inventor, or have a menu tree open on one screen and use the other screen just for modeling.....this was my impression, and is in fact how i use my dual monitor setup.

if there is some unique way to otherwise optimize two screens specifically for inventor i'd be extremely interested.

Re: Dual monitor Display setup....

the stretch program over two monitors with split view is the most common way people use 3d-applications on two monitors. I've been at SIGGRAPH, a computer graphics convention, a few times, and every time I've been there, they have applications stretched or different ones in each. I think MAYA has 2 monitor support, because I saw it positioned really well, but I've never seen inventor, 3dsmax, autocad very well placed on 2 monitors.
