Missing Parts

What are you supose to do about the parts missing in the kit. I know you are supose to report them somewhere, but if someone could provide the link that would be great, thx.

Searching is a great way to find a post you're looking for, and it really doesn't take all that long.

I typed in "missing" and got these:

Actually I had looked through those posts before, however I decided it was not clear and to the point. I hate reading through 12 pages of useless posts to find something that I need. It makes much more sense to create a new topic in my opinion and my experience with VBulletin Forums. I agree that duplicate posts can be annoying, but sometimes I think new topics are needed

Also I looked through all the posts on the searches you provided and my question wasn't answered... I am not starting a thread to list missing parts as those were mainly for... I just want to know where you are supose to report the missing parts...

I am doing this only because you only have less than 45 minutes to put your order in.

On the FIRST website, you have a place where you can add or update your account info. T.I.M.S. (Team Information Management System) T.I.M.S. requires a password that your team's main contact should have gotten from FIRST a while ago.

Somewhere there is a place to request missing parts ONLY ONCE, and before 12:01 AM Thursday Jan, 13. Which means you have about 45 minutes to get the missing parts order in, or you will have to barter with other teams, or buy your own duplicate parts.

5.4.2.2 How to Report Missing Parts

Reporting of missing parts will be on line through the TIMS. Each team will use their password to access a Missing Part Order Form and enter the quantity of each part they did not receive from the allotted amount that should have been in the kit. A team can only place ONE order. Once they hit the submit button, they cannot revise the order. In order to make this system work effectively and let staff move on to other projects critical to preparing materials for the road, the teams will be required to:




Take a complete and thorough inventory of their kit immediately after receiving it.

Complete and submit their Missing Part Order Form prior to 12:01 AM EST on Thursday, January 13, 2005.



PLEASE RESPECT OUR REPORTING DEADLINE

Our goal is that all missing parts shipments will be made prior to the close of the business on Friday, January 14, 2005.
