What did YOU Give up to make the First Build Season Meeting!?!?
sorry about missing the trip to florida.. we've been having beautiful weather down here for it being JANUARY... it feels like spring! anyways...

i gave up going to not one, but TWO of my best friends' Sweet 16 Birthday parties... one was in Texas and she was even going to pay for my ticket and everything, and the other one was a camping trip. i was also really sick and almost missed kickoff... but thankfully i got somewhat better and was able to referee at the FLL Florida State Tournament on the same day! ... i missed most of the kickoff but i caught the important part at lunch i was so excited, i could hardly concentrate on reffing for the rest of the day!

i eat, sleep, and breathe robotics 24/7. i haven't "sold my soul" to it... i think "dedicated my life" is more accurate. FIRST has been the most positive and wonderful influence in my life on so many levels its almost indiscribable; nothing can compare to how awesome it is. i wouldnt trade being in robotics for the world. my life completely revolves around FIRST robotics and i wouldnt have it any other way.
