Question Pneumatics Suppliers & Number of Resevoirs

What is a good supplier for pneumatic cylinders and reservoirs for FIRST? How many reservoirs can you use?

Re: Pneumatics Question

You need to use one of the official FIRST suppliers. Bimba is one, Parker (?) is the other. As for the reservoirs, it has always been two in the past. Several years ago, you could put a cylinder on as an extra reservoir, but I believe that is outlawed now.

Re: Pneumatics Question

www.bimba.com

It's not entirely clear whether or not we can use more than the supplied accumulators. FIRST's wording on this was very ambiguous.

Re: Pneumatics Suppliers & Number of Resevoirs

sorry for the thread hijack, but it doesnt seem to be worth srarting a new thread:

I know the kit only comes with 1 clippard tank, are we aloud to use more than 1? 1 tank probably wont last too long, depending on the pneu uses. In the past, i know my team has always used 2, but then, the kit came with 2.

thanks

Re: Pneumatics Suppliers & Number of Resevoirs

Kit comes with one this year, someone on my team said that there was no limit on the number of tanks this year, but I do think that the rules specified 2

Re: Pneumatics Suppliers & Number of Resevoirs

See this post. There still remains some ambiguity as to whether or not you can use more accumulators than the single one provided by FIRST. I'm sure someone has asked this on the Q&A site.
