The argument to not changing it is that people recognize us by that logo now. It is rather abstract but also it's pretty unique.
Try out some designs and see what shakes out. If you don't like the results stick with what you have.

I personally think it is a very cool logo. Knowing what it acturally represents makes it even better.

I usually recognize teams by their team number. I think that a lot of people do that. We have changed our logo a few times and Im that no one reallly noticed but everyone still knows who we are because of the numbers.
