The old 'New Posts' methods

Back in vBulletin 2 I had a hack in place where you could get 'new posts' from all forums since you last visited, or in the past 24 hours. You also could get 'new posts' in subscribed forums since you last visited, or in the past 24 hours.

That's back in vB3. I thought, since search.php is 2500 lines, and theres 3 other search library php files included, that adding such functionality would be insanely hard and require a firm understanding of all 3000-4000 lines of code.

Nope.

It was really really easy. Whoops. Anyway, theres a (temporary) [x] up next to 'new posts' which pulls down a drop-down. This [x] may turn into something eventually, but for now its a [x].

Now, for those of you who have the portal customized to your liking, then this may not be for you. But I have had a few requests for this older functionality, so .. there ya have it.
