actually i dont think u can see it but we had a battery, a compressor, and a cylinder on the other side of the bot

I am assuming you were testing the effect of the raised tetra on your robot's center of gravity and quickly learned that it shifted far forward of your drive wheels and much higher.
Did you give any consideration to using outriggers to stabilize the robot during the lifting and capping action? One or two pneumatically supported devices extending from the front of the robot may be sufficient to keep the machine from tipping over. Just a thought... |

We were thinking wedges but realized its just toooooo HIGH! its worse than 2001, were gonna need to "get low" to cap the biggy, a crane design would support the weight better, f+d=d+f basically says, having a 10 pound tetra hanging more than 2 feet out of the arm will topple almost anything unless you get some serious support for the base
