Re: Your Fav. T.V show!

ZIM!!!!

Okay, I guess I'll comment on my favorite TV shows not listed in the poll since everyone else is.

Simply put, reality gameshows take up my prime slots on my TV schedule. This is generally Survivor and The Amazing Race, though occasionally something else comes along which I'll watch (i.e., Rebel Billionaire).

We got a lot of good new shows this year. Among them are Veronica Mars, Lost, Battlestar Galactica, Tilt, Point Pleasant, and Jonny Zero. The latter four of those just premiered in the last week, and they all seem quite good (though I don't see Jonny Zero lasting, lousy FOX network... I would've said the same about Point Pleasant, but it actually got good ratings. BSG is already in the works for a second season). Veronica Mars has a shot at reaching "cult hit" status (which sadly, I can't watch until The Amazing Race finishes). And Lost is, well, Lost; I think you all know how good it is.

Primetime also includes 24, Alias (I am so glad those two are back), Smallville, Joan of Arcadia, and the two Stargate shows.

Then we have syndicated reruns! Okay, it's mostly Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Angel (and if you're a sci-fi fan, you'll love Firefly, the FOX-sabotaged show about the people history stepped on, made by the creator of Buffy/Angel). But hey, Buffy does contain the single best episode of anything ever to not win an Emmy (it was proven in a study that Once More With Feeling would've won had they not misprinted the ballots) and the single best musical lyric ever (/me points to tagline). Also, I make an attempt to catch Futurama and Farscape as much as possible (yeah, I'm a fan of "The Essential Three Fs of Sci-Fi").

Cartoons are nice too, though I stick to Nickelodeon. Plus, I'm a wrestling fan (a "smart mark" for those who know what that means), so I tune that in when nothing better is on. Finally, I have 12 Discovery Channels which are constantly on. And what does all this mean?

Apparently, it means I watch way too much TV. Have a nice day.
