Re: Team Meetings

Team 1474 meets every schoolday 2-5 and Saturdays are usually 12-6ish. Our team size is somewhere in the 20s but our meeting attendance is usually around 9-10 (we're pretty disappointed in the dedication our freshmen and sophmores have been showing). We've got about 10 mentors and per meeting its only 1-3 mentors.

Re: Team Meetings

Our team is 007, Parkville Robotics.
We have about 30 people on the team this year...more than last year.
Our hours: 4-8pm on weekdays, and 10am-4pm on Saturdays. We do not meet if there is a snowday, but on days our school has off (for a holiday or whatnot) we try to meet.

S.P.A.M. 180

We have about 70 students and 10 mentors. We meet 6:30 pm-8:30 pm Monday - Thursday unless it's a holiday or exams. We stay later if necessary later on in the season. We also meet on Saturdays from 10 am - 4 pm or later depends on what's going on. We occaisionly will do Friday night meetings and Sunday meetings with certain people to finish up various tasks.

Re: Team Meetings

Team 191 has 32 students and about 19 mentors, I believe and we meet every Wednesday from 2-7 (4-7 for adult mentors) and 9-5 on Saturdays with optional days in between (*part of the requirement for kids to travel is to volunteer for the extra hours of work required to finish the robot and any other projects we have to do.

Team #843: ~20 people, 15 people show up on average.

Meetings are two times a week; thursdays 3 PM til whenever and saturdays 8 AM til about 4 o'clock. Sub-team meetings are held irregularly on mornings before school starts and on tuesday nights after school. Also on exam turn-around week, we put 5 8-hour days of work.

Re: Team Meetings

Team 234 has a 40 member team, meeting every night with almost always everyone. Some nights we try to limit the number to a certain subteam that needs to work, i.e. Manufacturing, to try and give everyone a break.

Re: Team Meetings

Team 1549 has about 30 members on the roster. Only 4 to 5 actually meet at any one session. We have about 7 mentors and 4 teachers. Our hours are Mon-Thur 4pm to 9, Sat and Sun from 9 to 6. We only have 3 that are dedicated and have shown up every day. One advantage we have is that we have an entire machine shop/tools/ at our disposal since school is actually a college. Our problem is that the highschoolsers are the ones who has to drive/Hp but they show no dedication. College kids have done most of the work so far.

Re: Team Meetings

Hmm... I am wondering if our team meets to much.

We (team 1083) meet M-F from 5 -9, although many of the students start showing up at 2:00. We meet Saturdays from 10-5, but most people do not show up until around 2:00 or so.

Team#1382
Our team has 25 students (including website and animation), and 10 of them are completely envolved with the project, plus 2 teachers.
We work every day from 3PM until 9 or 10PM, but it depends. The mechanical project guys are working a lot, finishing the drawings, while we (electronics/programming) are developing the autonomous in a prototype robot.

Re: Team Meetings

103 has 33 members, 2 teacher advisors, and 6 or so mentors split between three departments... generally, we meet from 3 to 9 on weekdays (Friday is semi-optional) and 9 to 4 on Saturdays... any days we have half days or have off from school we also meet during the day into the afternoon and evening.
